What makes a home solar setup easier to trust
A design that fits the roof
We use the available roof space sensibly, rather than squeezing panels in for show.
Savings estimate, not guesswork
Your quote explains likely performance and key assumptions before any fitting date is set.
Fast domestic installation
Many homes are fitted in one or two working days, with clear handover at the end.
Designed around the roof and the way you live
Home solar panels work best when the design starts with the house in front of us, not a stock package. We look at roof shape, orientation, usable space, shading, daily electricity use and whether a battery makes sense now or later. That lets us size the array, inverter and wiring properly, so the system suits the property instead of forcing the property to suit the system. In Aberdeen, we begin with a free survey and a personalised savings estimate, then explain panel options, warranties and expected performance in a quote you can read without needing a translator. If you're already with Octopus Energy and your installation qualifies, you may also be able to receive three extra panels free, subject to eligibility and availability.

From survey to fitting without the guesswork
Once the design is agreed, we plan the job in a practical order. We confirm access, arrange any scaffolding if needed, fit the panels and electrical equipment, commission the system and talk you through the handover. Many domestic installations are completed in one or two working days, depending on system size. Customers often say the speed matters almost as much as the result, especially when the work has been organised cleanly. For eligible systems, we also provide MCS certification, so you leave the job with the right documents as well as a working array.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to fit home solar panels?
Many home solar panel jobs are completed in one or two working days, depending on system size and the access needed. We confirm the expected timetable after the survey, so you know what the visit should involve before fitting starts.
Will the design be matched to my roof and electricity use?
Yes. We assess roof layout, orientation, usable space and shading, then match the array, inverter and any battery to how the home uses power. That matters more than chasing a headline size that looks impressive but does not suit the property.
What is included after the installation is finished?
After fitting, we commission the system, connect the equipment properly and carry out a handover so you can use it with confidence. For eligible systems, we also provide MCS certification and explain the main paperwork that follows the job.
